In addition to flexible hybrid systems, Kostal offers attractive options for battery storage retrofits with the Plenticore BI 25 G3. Featuring a 25 kW charging capacity, three battery connections, and a total charging current of 68 amperes, it accommodates a wide range of battery storage sizes. The inverter is equipped with the necessary interfaces for connecting a remote control receiver (FRE) or for compliance with grid-control requirements under Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG). Backup power functionality can also be implemented by adding an external switching device. Building on the proven features and specifications of the BYD HVB series, this version incorporates an improved Battery Control Unit (BCU). This unit is versatile and compatible with battery modules from the HVB, HVS+, and HVM+ series. Furthermore, the new automatic State of Charge (SOC) balancing optimizer eliminates the need for manual SOC adjustment during initial installation or system expansion. Product Advantages:
