In addition to flexible hybrid systems, Kostal offers attractive options for battery storage retrofits with the Plenticore BI G3. With a charging capacity of 25 kW, three battery connections, and a total charging current of 68 amperes, storage capacities ranging from 5 to 230 kWh can be implemented. The unit features suitable interfaces for connecting a ripple control receiver (FRE) or for control in accordance with Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG). Backup power functionality can also be implemented by adding an external switching device.
