This set does not include a (smart) energy meter. Depending on the system configuration, the appropriate component must be added separately. The compatible energy meter models are listed in the accessories section.
When using the backup function and parallel connection, please refer to the system configuration without the Sunny Home Manager 2.0. If the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is required, it must be defined as a simple measuring point subordinate to the STPH X.
With the Sunny Tripower Hybrid X series, SMA offers highly attractive system solutions for residential and small commercial applications. These are ideally combined with the tried-and-tested BYD Battery-Box HVS+ storage system. This system stands out for its quick installation thanks to its compact dimensions and wireless stacking design. With 2.56 kWh of usable capacity per battery, 2 to 5 modules per unit and up to 3 units connected in parallel, a maximum of 38.4 kWh can be achieved. The automatic SOC Balancing Optimizer eliminates the need for manual adjustment of the state of charge during initial installation and system expansion. The revised BCU connection management, featuring connectors at both the power and communication levels, saves further valuable time during installation. The System Manager integrated into the inverter simplifies the connection of additional components*. The comprehensive package of integrated interfaces enables easy implementation of all standard control requirements. By adding the SMA Backup Box for the STPH-X series, it is also possible to switch the entire house connection up to 63 amps to backup power mode**. As a small backup solution, an emergency power socket can also be connected directly to the device.
