Depending on local regulations, the grid disconnection must be 3-pole or all-pole. Select the appropriate box/kit accordingly.
The SMA Backup Box is the ideal complement to the new Sunny Tripower Hybrid X Series. In the event of a power outage, the system automatically disconnects from the grid and switches to off-grid operation. Depending on the system configuration and the number of active inverters, even larger loads* can continue to be powered. The backup unit is available both as a compact box and as an installation kit for direct installation in the distribution cabinet.
