When using the backup function and parallel connection, refer to the system configuration without the Sunny Home Manager 2.0. If the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is required, it must be defined as a simple measurement point subordinate to the STP Hybrid X.
With the Sunny Tripower Hybrid X series, SMA offers highly attractive system solutions for residential and small commercial applications. The Hybrid inverters, available in power classes ranging from 5 to 15 kW and 20 to 30 kW, can be ideally combined with SMA’s own Home Storage or Storage M batteries, as well as the latest models from BYD. Thanks to the integrated SMA System Manager, connecting additional system components* is quick and efficient. The comprehensive package of integrated interfaces enables easy implementation of all standard control requirements. By adding the SMA Backup Box / Kit for the STPH-X series, it is also possible to switch the entire house connection up to 63 amps to backup power mode**. As a small backup solution, a power outlet can also be connected directly to the device.
