The manufacturer’s specifications regarding the installation site, assembly, installation and installation tools, fire protection, safety distances, etc., must be checked and confirmed in advance by the customer.
Commissioning support must be selected based on the system plan and booked separately for each storage cabinet.
Please verify for the entire system (existing + new) whether additional components such as Data Manager M, Commercial Energy Meter, or similar are required for the necessary interfaces.
Installation may only be performed by trained and certified installers. Alternatively, the SMA commissioning service can be booked.
Suitable lifting and transport equipment must be provided on-site. The accessibility of transport routes and passageways must be checked in advance.
This storage series is approved exclusively for outdoor installation.
Commercial systems from small to large—with or without grid connection—perhaps with a generator? That’s a job for the Sunny Island X. The applications for this flexible high-voltage storage inverter with 30 or 50 kW range from self-consumption, peak shaving, and combined multi-use mode to backup* and true off-grid* operation. The integrated system manager supports up to 10 devices in the system. For larger applications, the SMA Datamanager M (EDMM-20) accommodates up to 50 devices. Ideally combined with the high-performance Storage XL battery series for indoor or outdoor use. Suitable for every application scenario and, as is typical of SMA, scalable up to the megawatt range. Thanks to high-quality cells and intelligent battery management, up to 12,000 charge cycles are possible with a 10-year system and battery capacity warranty.
