This set does not include a (Smart) Energy Meter. Depending on the system configuration, the appropriate component must be added separately. The compatible energy meter models are listed in the accessories section.
When using the backup function and parallel connection, refer to the system configuration without the Sunny Home Manager 2.0. If the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is required, it must be defined as a simple measurement point subordinate to the STP Hybrid X.
With the Sunny Tripower Hybrid X series, SMA offers highly attractive system solutions for residential and small commercial applications. These pair perfectly with SMA’s in-house Storage M energy storage system, which stands out for its quick installation thanks to its compact dimensions and wireless stacking design. With 4.09 kWh of usable capacity per battery and 3 to 12 modules per unit, up to 49.12 kWh can be achieved. The cells, optimized for high charge cycles and energy throughput, are ideally suited for demanding application scenarios such as dynamic tariffs, energy trading, and virtual power plants. The System Manager integrated into the inverter simplifies the connection of additional components*. The same applies to the comprehensive package of integrated interfaces for the easy implementation of all standard control requirements. By adding the SMA Backup Box / Kit for the STPH-X series, it is also possible to switch the entire house connection up to 63 amps to backup power mode**. As a small backup solution, a power outlet can also be connected directly to the device.
