In addition to flexible hybrid systems, Kostal offers attractive options for battery storage retrofits with the Plenticore BI 25 G3. Featuring 25 kW of charging power, three battery connection ports, and a total charging current of 68 amperes, it supports storage capacities ranging from 5 to 230 kWh. The company’s own HELIVOR storage system stands out for its practical, user-friendly installation, utilizing a screwless and cable-free modular stacking design. Each unit requires minimal space and can accommodate up to nine storage modules, providing 28.8 kWh of usable capacity. The maximum configuration consists of eight towers connected in parallel, offering a total capacity of 230.4 kWh. The inverter is equipped with the necessary interfaces for connecting a remote control receiver (FRE) or for compliance with grid-control requirements under Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG). Furthermore, a backup power function can be implemented by adding an external switching device.
