The three PLENTICOINs required to activate the storage function must be ordered separately.

The new BYD Energy app with the latest firmware (from V1.28.0) is required for commissioning.
The included RJ45 termination connector for the data bus must be pre-assembled on-site. To do this, insert and crimp a wire jumper between pins 1 and 6 (viewed from above on the flat connector side with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry facing down, pins ascending from left to right). An actual resistor is not required.
With the PLENTICORE G3 series, KOSTAL expands its flexible portfolio around the PLENTICOIN. This proprietary currency for unlocking device performance and functions is also used here. The inverters are delivered in three device variants: S, M, and L, with a base power of 4 to 15 kW. Using PLENTICOINs, two higher power classes, storage usage, and intelligent connectivity of the EV-Charger can be activated at any time. The three device versions thus enable almost universal application freedom with reduced storage requirements. For the new HVM+ series from BYD, an improved BCU has been used, which can be flexibly utilized for the storage modules of HVB, HVS+, and HVM+. The new automatic SOC-Balancing-Optimizer eliminates the need for manual adjustment of the charge level during initial installation and expansion.
