Combination with components from the previous HVS series is not possible.
The included RJ45 terminating connector for the data bus must be pre-assembled on site. To do this, insert and crimp a wire jumper between pins 1 and 6 (viewed from above on the flat connector side with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry facing down, pins ascending from left to right). An actual resistor is not required.
The second generation of the Goodwe ET-20 hybrid series ranges from 6 to 15 kW and is ideal for many residential applications. The successor to the previous ET+ series has been enhanced and improved in many areas. With the familiar 16 amp input current per MPP tracker, all current module series can be connected. With an integrated smart meter including 3 Cts, a communication dongle, AC+DC surge protection, and AFCI arc detection, the system is complete. The proven backup connection provides uninterrupted power to selected circuits. This is combined with the new HVS+ series from BYD. Thanks to the new BCU, it can be flexibly used for storage modules from the HVB, HVS+, and HVM+ series. The new automatic SOC balancing optimizer eliminates the need for manual adjustment of the charge level during initial installation and expansion. The revised BCU connection management with connectors at the power and communication levels saves even more valuable time during installation.
