The combination with components from the previous HVM series is not possible.
The included RJ45 termination connector for the data bus requires on-site assembly. This involves inserting and crimping a wire bridge between pins 1 and 6 (viewed from above on the flat side of the connector with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry facing downwards, pins ascending from left to right). Even an innovative system like the Fronius GEN24 constantly needs new impetus for improvement. The new SC version of the Primo and Symo series now receives an upgrade for DC input currents. The GEN24 SC plus version is delivered with the battery connection already activated at the factory. Of course, the version with the battery port deactivated is still available – distinguishable by the "plus" after GEN24 SC in the device name. You decide whether and when to use it. The smart PV-Point emergency power connection with a maximum output of 3 kW is active in every version. Here, it is combined with the BYD HVM+ storage system. The automatic SOC balancing optimizer eliminates the need for manual adjustment of the charge level during initial installation and expansion. The revised BCU connection management with connectors at the power and communication levels saves further valuable time during installation.
