The 3 PLENTICOINs required to activate the storage function must be ordered separately.
The new BYD Energy app including the latest firmware (from V1.28.0) is required for commissioning.
The RJ45 terminating plug for the data bus included in the scope of delivery must be pre-assembled on site. For this purpose, a wire jumper must be inserted and crimped between pins 1 + 6 (view from above onto the flat connector side with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry facing downwards, pins ascending from left to right). An actual resistor is not required.
With the PLENTICORE G3 series, KOSTAL is expanding its flexible portfolio centred around the PLENTICOIN. This in-house currency for activating device power and functions is also used here. The inverters are supplied in 3 device variants S, M and L with a basic output of 4 to 15 kW. PLENTICOINs can be used to activate 2 higher power classes, storage utilisation and the intelligent connection of the EV charger. At any time. The 3 device versions thus enable almost universal application freedom with reduced storage requirements. In addition to the proven features and key data, an improved BCU has been used in the new HVB series from BYD. This can be used flexibly for the storage modules of the HVB, HVS+ and HVM+. The new automatic SOC balancing optimiser eliminates the need to manually adjust the charge level during initial installation and expansion.
