The VARTA BCU (BM1/BM2), when used in combination with LFP batteries (BM2), is currently compatible with Kostal and SMA inverters, as well as the VARTA.hybrid.wall inverter.
The PLENTICOINs required for power and function activation must be ordered separately.

The PLENTICORE G3 series is an integral part of KOSTAL’s flexible portfolio centered around the PLENTICOIN. This proprietary currency, used to unlock device performance and functions, is also utilized here. The inverters are available in three models - S, M, and L - with a base power output ranging from 4 to 15 kW. Using PLENTICOINs, users can activate two higher power classes, battery usage, and the smart connection of the EV charger at any time. The three device versions thus enable nearly universal application flexibility with reduced inventory requirements. The BM2 generation of the Varta.wall high-voltage storage system now utilizes LFP cell chemistry and offers 4.5 kWh of usable capacity per module. In the wireless stacking concept, up to 4 batteries with a total of 18.0 kWh can be installed in a tower. As a result, the “Made in Germany” system excels with quick and easy installation. Slim dimensions and a depth of just 140 mm allow for flexible placement.
