The VARTA BCU (BM1/BM2), when used in combination with LFP batteries (BM2), is currently compatible with Kostal and SMA inverters, as well as the VARTA.hybrid.wall inverter.
The 2 PLENTICOINs required to activate the storage function must be ordered separately.

This combo really gets things going and is entirely “Made in Germany.” The flexible single-phase Kostal Plenticore MP G3 series, featuring the in-house PLENTICOIN currency and the VARTA.wall BM2 high-voltage storage system. For the S and M models of the inverters, PLENTICOINs can be used to activate higher power classes, storage utilization, and the smart connection of the EV charger. Anytime. The BM2 generation of the Varta.wall high-voltage storage system now uses LFP cell chemistry and offers 4.5 kWh of usable capacity per module. In the wireless stacking concept, up to 4 batteries with a total of 18.0 kWh can be installed in a tower. This allows the system to offer fast and easy installation. Slim dimensions and a depth of only 140 mm enable flexible placement.
