Due to differences in dimensions, the InsertionRail 2.0 cannot be used in conjunction with the previous InsertionRail System.
The InsertionRail 2.0 Cover 40 acts as a horizontal cover for the InsertionRail 2.0 for 40 mm frame heights and is clicked onto the mounting rail at both the top and bottom end of the module block. This rail cover prevents the accumulation of dirt or water in the insertion rails and at the same time contributes to an aesthetically pleasing overall appearance.
