The combination with components from the previous HVS series is not possible.
The included RJ45 termination connector for the data bus requires on-site assembly. This involves inserting and crimping a wire bridge between pins 1 and 6 (viewed from above on the flat side of the connector with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry facing downwards, pins ascending from left to right). No actual resistor is required.
The Fronius Symo GEN24 plus is a well-established product in the residential segment. Its proven technology and flexibility, along with its optional functions and features, leave little to be desired. For example, a practical emergency power outlet can be implemented via the integrated PV-Point. With an additional module, it can also be used for continuous operation and seamless switching. And if you want to keep the whole house lit during a power outage, the Fronius Backup Switch and Controller offer various options. Here, it's combined with the new BYD HVS+ storage system. The automatic SOC balancing optimizer eliminates the need for manual adjustments to the charge level during initial installation and expansion. The redesigned BCU connection management with connectors at the power and communication levels saves even more valuable installation time.
