The combination with components from the previous HVS series is not possible.
The included RJ45 termination connector for the data bus requires on-site assembly. This involves inserting and crimping a wire bridge between pins 1 and 6 (viewed from above on the flat side of the connector with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry facing downwards, pins ascending from left to right). No actual resistor is required.
The Symo GEN24 12.0 SC is the latest addition to the Fronius GEN24 family. Like its smaller siblings, the SC is available as a fully-fledged hybrid or battery-ready system. The "Plus" in the SC makes all the difference. You decide whether and when to use this function via an activation code. The smart PV-Point emergency power connection with a maximum output of 3 kW is active in every version and can now be used continuously with a minor upgrade. All other functions and interfaces remain tried and tested. Here, it's combined with the new BYD HVS+ battery storage system. The automatic SOC balancing optimizer eliminates the need for manual adjustments to the charge level during initial installation and expansion. The redesigned BCU connection management with connectors at the power and communication levels saves even more valuable installation time.
