The RJ45 data bus termination plug included in the scope of delivery requires final assembly on-site. To do this, a wire jumper must be inserted and crimped between pins 1 and 6 (viewing the flat side of the connector with the pin contact surfaces from above, with the cable entry facing downwards and pins numbered sequentially from left to right). An actual resistor is not required.
The second generation of the GoodWe ET-20 hybrid series ranges from 6 to 15 kW and is ideal for a wide range of residential applications. As the successor to the previous ET+ series, it incorporates numerous additions and improvements. With an input current of 16 amperes per MPP tracker—a proven standard—the system supports the connection of all current module series. It comes fully equipped with an integrated smart meter (including 3 CTs), a communication dongle, AC/DC surge protection, and AFCI arc fault detection. The reliable backup port ensures an uninterrupted power supply to selected circuits. The BYD HVB high-voltage battery system boasts all the strengths of its predecessors, offering a capacity range of 5.9 to 29.6 kWh per unit. Its proprietary LFP cells—proven in millions of installations—also enable a more compact system design; at maximum configuration, the tower stands just 1.33 meters tall. Cascading up to three units allows for a maximum total capacity of 89.07 kWh.
