Mounting systems

The Krannich Solar online shop offers a comprehensive range of components for stable and long-lasting photovoltaic mounting structures. We provide mounting systems from the renowned manufacturer K2 Systems.

Flat roof systems

Large flat roofs – for example on production halls or warehouses – are an ideal location for PV installations. However, they require special mounting structures that can withstand high wind loads and allow flexible panel orientation.

D-Dome 6 enables east-west panel orientation, making optimal use of the roof area without mutual shading.
S-Dome 6 is designed for single-sided south-facing orientation – advantageous where there is strong solar radiation from one side.

Both systems are available in Xpress (pre-assembled) and Classic (non-pre-assembled) versions.

Dome Zero is installed parallel to the flat roof surface – ideal for roof pitches up to 10° and roofs with parapets.
TiltUp Vento offers easy installation with a minimum number of components and fixed tilt angles (20°, 25°, 30°). The GreenRoof Vento version is intended for green roofs.
Triangle / MultiAngle enables flexible tilt angles in the range of 10° to 45° – a cost-effective alternative to Dome systems.

Pitched roof systems

In the residential sector and for smaller commercial installations, pitched roofs are a common standard. K2 Systems offers a wide range of solutions for them:

SolidRail covers almost all types of roof coverings thanks to different rail profiles and roof hooks – with the exception of asphalt roofs.
SingleRail fills this gap: together with Splice Foot, it is the only K2 solution also suitable for bitumen roofs.
K2 insertion system ensures a smooth surface without visible clamps – an aesthetic and fast solution.

Special solutions for sheet metal roofs and trapezoidal profiles:

BasicRail – for trapezoidal and sandwich roofs: fast installation, high load-bearing capacity, thermal insulation, and approvals from building authorities.
MiniRail – short rails, minimal material consumption, tilt option using the MiniFive accessory.
MultiRail – mounting rail and fastening in one; can also be used as the base rail for the Dome 6 system. The MultiRail CSM variant is suitable for corrugated sheet metal roofs.

Facade systems

Vertically installed PV modules also allow facades to be used as an energy source. Our systems are suitable for both new buildings and existing buildings, including various facade types:

WallPV FacadeRail – for masonry and concrete, including insulation systems (e.g. polystyrene) or ventilated facades
WallPV PerfoRail – enables rail installation directly on insulated solid walls, without compromising thermal insulation
WallPC CarrierRail – for sandwich panels (e.g. from Fischer Profil or Montana Bausysteme), fastened using approved thin-sheet screws
WallPV MultiRail – adapted for trapezoidal and corrugated sheet metal facades – especially popular in agriculture

Ground-mounted installations and carports

K2 also offers solutions for installations outside roof structures:

P-Rack – for small ground-mounted power plants: pre-configured, ready-made sizes (14–16 panels), no planning required
N-Rack – for medium-sized installations: flexible customization, concrete foundations or driven piles. Requires individual design

Accessories for mounting structures

In addition to the main system components, we offer a wide range of accessories that simplify installation and increase safety:

Cable routing (wire trays, Cable Manager by K2 / Conduct)
Components for lightning protection and equipotential bonding
Measurement kits for determining the coefficient of friction
And much more

Planning PV mounting structures with K2 Base

With the help of the digital K2 Base tool, planning mounting systems is easy and efficient. Google Maps can be used to define roof areas and populate them directly with panels.  The software calculates loads (wind, snow), creates an installation plan, and generates a list of required materials. It also takes thermal separation and service zones into account.  Project data can be transferred directly to the Krannich Solar e-shop. All you need is a free MyK2 account.  We also offer the option of preparing a tailor-made project based on your specifications here: K2 Systems projects
