This optimizer can be used up to 550 Wp and 16.5 A in accordance with special approval from SolarEdge.
Check the compatibility between module and inverter with the SolarEdge Designer.
This revised version of the S500B now has a slightly stepped mounting plate for better compliance with the distances to the rear of the module.
Thanks to the unique system concept with the high-performance power optimizers, SolarEdge enables the ideal energy use of your PV system. The high flexibility in arrangement and interconnection is reflected in an outstanding efficiency of 99.5%. In addition, the SolarEdge optimizers minimize any losses due to module mismatching.
The integrated functions such as Safe-DC and monitoring of the DC connectors ensure safety throughout the entire system. The SolarEdge optimizers are specially designed for use with SolarEdge inverters in private households and are even compatible with bifacial modules.
