Inverters and system technology
Residential systems
For the residential sector, SMA offers systems for PV installations on private homes with its Sunny Boy and Sunny Tripower series. The hybrid models Sunny Boy Smart Energy and Sunny Tripower Smart Energy, which combine solar and battery operation, are particularly popular. In addition, the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 ensures intelligent control of self-consumption and the integration of charging solutions and heating applications.
Commercial solutions
For commercial installations, SMA’s Commercial Energy Solution offers a flexible concept comprising three-phase inverters from the Sunny Tripower range (12–110 kW), battery storage systems, and control and billing solutions. The Sunny Island battery inverter enables flexible storage and off-grid or even self-sufficient operation.
Storage solutions and energy management
In the residential sector, the SMA Home Storage system offers a modular solution that can be combined with hybrid inverters or the Sunny Island. For commercial and industrial applications, SMA Commercial Storage is the ideal option. These solutions are complemented by software tools and platforms for comprehensive energy management. The ennexOS platform connects PV, storage, charging infrastructure and heating systems within a holistic system.
