The storage modules of the BM series cannot be combined with the BM1 BMS.
The storage modules of the BM1 and BM2 series cannot be used together.

The BM2 generation of the Varta.wall high-voltage storage system now features LFP cell chemistry and 4.5 kWh of usable capacity per module. In the wireless stacking concept, up to 4 batteries with a total of 18.0 kWh can be installed in a tower. As a result, the “Made in Germany” system offers fast and easy installation. Slim dimensions and a depth of just 140 mm allow for flexible placement. The new BMS unit can be flexibly combined with storage modules from the BM1 or BM2 series.
