This wallbox does not meet the requirements of EN ISO 15118-2 and is therefore not suitable for newly installed or extensively refurbished existing publicly accessible charging points in accordance with AFIR (EU) 2023/1804 from 8 January 2026. Existing publicly accessible charging points (grandfathering) and use in non-public areas remain unaffected by this.
The Sigen EV AC Charger is an AC wallbox with a charging capacity of 11 kW, designed for both indoor and outdoor use, featuring a permanently attached 5-metre type 2 charging cable. When combined with the Sigenergy system solution, the charger enables smart charging, for example using surplus PV energy and dynamic load management to prevent grid overloads. Integrated safety features, including AC and DC fault current detection, enhance operational safety and reduce installation effort. Thanks to IP65 protection, simple installation and communication interfaces such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 4G and RS485, the wallbox is suitable for integration into modern energy systems.
