Surge protection is now standard equipment in PV systems. This extremely compact box from Weidmüller's PV Next series is designed for one MPP Tacker with three string inputs and outputs each. Connection is made directly to the system board using practical push-in terminals. In addition to the color-coded function indicators for the three surge arrester elements, a signaling contact is also available for remote monitoring.
