Smappee Connect and the Smappee Power Box are required. Alternatively, the EV Infinity Kit (0159658) can be used.
This module enables the legally compliant control and regulation of charging infrastructures in accordance with § 14a of the Energiewirtschaftsgesetz (EnWG).
To comply with the requirements of § 14a of the Energiewirtschaftsgesetz (EnWG), it is necessary to connect the charging station to a separate Smappee Smart Grid Ready module. This module has been specially designed to ensure that the technical requirements for integration into a smart and controllable power grid are met. It allows the grid operator to temporarily reduce the charging power of private charging stations above 4.2 kW in the event of grid overloads, as required by law.
