A maximum of four expansion batteries can be connected to the system.
With the ESA Athena balcony storage system, Goodwe combines the flexibility of a home storage system with the simplicity of a balcony system. The compact master unit houses not only four MPP trackers, the grid and backup inverters, but also a built-in 1.92 kWh storage module. This allows four high-performance modules with a total output of up to 2400 Wp to be controlled individually. Additionally, there is the option to retrofit a further four storage modules at any time, up to a capacity of 9.6 kWh. Thanks to the integrated heating function, operation is guaranteed down to -20 °C even when installed outdoors. To comply with legal requirements, grid feed-in is limited to the standard 800 W. The energy meter (e.g., Shelly Pro 3M, Eastron SEM3-WL-2, etc.) records all energy flows at the grid connection and balances them within this framework. The backup connection, integrated into the unit with a Schuko socket, can supply up to 1500 W of load even during a power cut. Let’s get started with the Mini Home Power Station 2.0.
