Please check compatibility with your system. Retrofitting storage modules requires special preparations and must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
When using the connectors supplied with the BCU 2.0, make sure you use a suitable crimping tool and work correctly in accordance with the BYD instructions.
The RJ45 termination plug for the data bus included in the scope of delivery must be finished on site. To do this, insert a wire bridge between pins 1 + 6 (viewed from above on the flat side of the plug with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry at the bottom, pins ascending from left to right) and crimp it. No actual resistor is required.
The wireless stacking concept for high-voltage storage systems was invented with the BYD Battery-Box. The compact and fast installation has now become the standard. The proven LFP cell chemistry, flexible scaling options and unlimited retrofitting make it a powerful success story. The HVM series enables up to 22.1 kWh per tower and up to 3 units in parallel. Ideal from home use to small commercial applications. Even faster installation thanks to the new BCU 2.0 and compatible with many leading manufacturers.
