Product information "Battery-Box Premium HVM 22.1"
Please check compatibility with your system in advance. Retrofitting additional battery modules requires special preparation and must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
When using the connectors supplied with the BCU 2.0, ensure that a suitable crimping tool is used and that the connectors are correctly assembled in accordance with the BYD instructions.
The RJ45 termination plug for the data bus included in the scope of delivery must be fully assembled on site. To do this, a wire bridge must be inserted and crimped between pins 1 and 6. The following orientation applies: view from above onto the flat side of the connector with the pin contact surfaces, cable entry facing downwards, and pins numbered in ascending order from left to right. An additional resistor is not required.
The wireless stacking concept for high-voltage storage systems was invented with the BYD Battery-Box. The compact and fast installation has now become the standard. The proven LFP cell chemistry, flexible scaling options and unlimited retrofitting make it a powerful success story. The HVM series enables up to 22.1 kWh per tower and up to 3 units in parallel. Ideal from home use to small commercial applications. Even faster installation thanks to the new BCU 2.0 and compatible with many leading manufacturers.
