When using more than 3 storage modules, these must be installed as a second tower. The Sofar BTS 5K Extension Kit (item 0162355) is also required.
The combination of storage modules with and without integrated cell heating is approved by Sofar.
Sofar Solar has updated the tried and tested HYD KTL-3PH series. Up to 22.5 amps of input current are now possible per string connection. This leaves the door wide open for the use of new high-performance modules, including bifacial ones. Integrated AC/DC surge protection and shadow management are still standard features. A direct-measuring inline meter and pre-assembled cable sets included in the scope of delivery make installation easier. Depending on the power class of 5 to 20 kW, up to 8 cascaded battery modules with a total usable capacity of 40.96 kWh are possible. The BMS built into each battery unit creates maximum flexibility.
