Functionality: When the system including backup power consumers is disconnected from the grid, the backup switch releases the inverter for independent operation. Overcurrent and overvoltage protection for the backup power consumers must be installed in a suitable location to maintain the protective function.
A power cut like this is always inconvenient, one quick digger driver and the whole street goes dark. Even if you don't really want to plan for such a situation, the technical possibility of an independent backup power supply creates an unimagined sense of security. The Fronius GEN24 plus series, in both the 1-phase and 3-phase versions, can be supplemented at any time and at low cost with the Fronius Backup Switch. With the manual switch, all important loads are literally supplied with power again in no time at all. For all those for whom 3 kW emergency power via the Fronius PV Point is not quite enough.
