The manufacturer’s specifications regarding installation site, assembly, installation and installation tools, fire protection, safety clearances, etc., must be checked and confirmed on-site in advance.
When using multiple outdoor storage cabinets, one set of connection cables must be ordered per storage rack. For indoor systems, the Battery Storage Combiner Box is required.
*When used with an SMA indoor storage system and the Battery Storage Combiner Box, the same cable lengths must be used for all storage racks.
With the Storage XL storage series, SMA completes its commercial portfolio. The new high-performance storage racks for indoor or outdoor use can be flexibly combined with the Sunny Tripower Storage X and Sunny Island X. Selected to suit the specific application scenario and, as is typical for SMA, scalable up to the megawatt range. Thanks to high-quality cells and intelligent storage management, up to 12,000 charge cycles are possible with a 10-year system and battery capacity warranty. Naturally, this is complemented by SMA’s broad range of PV inverters and system management components.
