This wallbox does not meet the requirements of EN ISO 15118-2 and is therefore not suitable for newly installed or extensively refurbished existing publicly accessible charging points in accordance with AFIR (EU) 2023/1804 from 8 January 2026. Existing publicly accessible charging points (grandfathering) and use in non-public areas remain unaffected by this.
The Sigen EV AC Charger 7 kW is a smart AC wallbox for indoor and outdoor use and is ideally suited for integration into the Sigenergy energy system. With a charging power of up to 7 kW, a Type 2 socket with shutter, 4G, Wi-Fi and Fast Ethernet connectivity, as well as support for 100% PV surplus charging, Solar Boost Charging and dynamic load management, it enables efficient and convenient charging of electric vehicles. Integrated AC and DC residual current detection, together with comprehensive protection features, reduces installation effort and enhances operational safety. Thanks to its IP65 protection rating, easy wall-mounted installation and control via the mySigen app, the wallbox is ideally suited for modern residential energy systems.
