Product information "Power Magic Energy Storage Cabinet 258 kWh V1.5 S2"
The new S2 cabinet version is not compatible with the S1.
Only one Battery Cabinet of the same capacity can be used to expand this system.
Additional components and cable sets are required when connecting several systems.
Commissioning support must be selected in accordance with system planning and booked separately for each storage cabinet. Alternatively, certification training can be completed.
Please check for the entire system (existing + new) whether additional third-party loggers or EMS are required for the required interfaces.
The manufacturer's specifications regarding installation location, assembly, installation and assembly tools, fire protection, safety distances, etc. must be checked and confirmed in advance by the customer.
Suitable lifting and transport equipment must be provided on site. The passability of transport routes and passageways must be checked in advance.
Anyone who associates Sofar's Power Magic with a magic show featuring a top hat and an integrated CEE socket is in for a wild guess. In reality, the name conceals the latest generation of liquid-cooled commercial energy storage systems for the C&I (Consumer & Infrastructure) sector. The master unit, the Energy Storage Cabinet, can be cascaded up to six units and each unit can be expanded with three additional Battery Cabinets. This allows for storage capacities extending into the MWh range. In addition to the highly efficient cooling system, numerous monitoring features and a three-stage fire suppression system ensure the necessary safety.The Power Magic is designed for commercial use in the C&I sector.
