The new S2 cabinet version is not compatible with the S1.
The manufacturer's instructions regarding transport, storage, preparation, and installation must be strictly followed.
Appropriate commissioning support must be purchased separately. Alternatively, certification training can be completed.
Only a battery cabinet of the same capacity can be used to expand this system.
Due to the liquid cooling system, the system is delivered fully pre-assembled. Suitable vehicles for unloading and transport must be used.
Additional components and cable sets are required when connecting multiple systems.
Transport, assembly, and installation must be carried out by the customer prior to commissioning. The required installation materials must be verified against the instructions and the local conditions and provided by the customer.
Please check the necessity of an external EMS (Energy Management System) based on your project-specific parameters and planned components to provide, for example, the required control interfaces. This may need to be added separately. We are happy to assist you in selecting suitable providers.
Anyone who associates Sofar's Power Magic with a magic show featuring a top hat and an integrated CEE socket is in for a wild guess. In reality, the name conceals the latest generation of liquid-cooled commercial energy storage systems for the C&I (Consumer & Infrastructure) sector. The master unit, the Energy Storage Cabinet, can be cascaded up to six units and each unit can be expanded with three additional Battery Cabinets. This allows for storage capacities extending into the MWh range. In addition to the highly efficient cooling system, numerous monitoring features and a three-stage fire suppression system ensure the necessary safety.The Power Magic is designed for commercial use in the C&I sector.
