Up to 6 battery modules can be installed in a single unit with the inverter. If more batteries are used, they must be arranged in a second or third tower. The ESA Battery Expansion Kit is required for each additional tower.
Three current transformers for direct connection to the inverter are included in the scope of delivery; alternatively, a separate GoodWe Energy Meter can be used.
The three-phase hybrid inverters of the GoodWe ETA-G20 series combine with BAT-D high-voltage batteries to form the compact ESA all-in-one storage system. Together, the components create a harmonious and visually appealing unit. Up to 12 battery modules—available in four capacity sizes ranging from 5 to 9 kWh—can be flexibly combined, enabling a total usable capacity of up to 108 kWh. The hybrid inverters are available in power classes ranging from 5 to 30 kW. With comprehensive features regarding communication, protective elements, and string connections, the system is ideal for applications ranging from residential to small commercial use. Thanks to a reinforced internal bypass, the entire home connection (up to 80 A*) can be connected to the backup port. With a switchover time of less than 4 ms, even sensitive loads continue to operate without interruption.
