BirdBlocker was developed based on practical experience with PV installations:

Birds seek out warm, sheltered places. They build nests under modules, which can cause damage to cables, fire hazards, contamination and loss of performance. BirdBlocker completely seals the edges of modules with the aim of permanently preventing damage, fire hazards and efficiency losses caused by nest building.

Does BirdBlocker impair ventilation or performance?

No. The edge area is sealed against nest building, but the return air circulation of the modules remains intact.

Can BirdBlocker be retrofitted?

Yes. BB125 in particular is retrofit-friendly. The effort involved depends on access to the lower edge of the module.

Is the solution animal-friendly?

Yes. BirdBlocker prevents access without aggressive defence methods.

How long does the system last?

UV- and frost-resistant materials, 10-year material guarantee.
