The PIKO-sensor is a measuring device for irradiation and temperature control of photovoltaic solar systems. This sensor is designed to operate at a PIKO inverters.
The PIKO-sensor measures the following quantities:
- irradiation
- Ambient temperature
- Module temperature
The silicon sensors on the lid of the sensor housing measure the radiation. These sensors provide a voltage which is proportional to the irradiance.
The sensor for the ambient temperature is installed directly in the housing of the sensor and measures the temperature of the mounting plate.
The temperature sensor module is connected to the sensor module and measures the temperature. This sensor must be adhered to the back of the module.
Supply voltage: 5-30 V DC
Power consumption: 30 mW
Mounting: hole for mounting with screw M10
Protection: IP65
